MEET OWNER, JOYCELIN RAHO
Beyond the Basics Creative Studio is an in-home art studio offering both small group classes and private lessons. This studio is a place where creativity and learning come together to inspire individuals of ALL ages. We offer a variety of art classes, workshops, and events to nurture artistic expression.
Joycelin Raho is a native of Western Massachusetts, and after several years in New Hampshire is now residing back in Longmeadow with her husband and two daughters. Joycelin earned her BFA in Studio Art and Art Education from Emmanuel College and Mass College of Art. She has taught High School Art in Cambridge, MA ; Elementary and Middle School Art in Phoenix, AZ; and assisted with the Summer Teen Program at Snow Farm in Williamsburg, MA.
She is a lifelong artist and educator, dedicated to providing a supportive and engaging environment for everyone to explore their creativity. You can see her most recent work on Instagram @jrahodesigns
