Winter Art Explorers is a joyful 60-minute weekly class where young artists dive into the world of painting, printmaking, shading, and patterns. Each session blends hands-on techniques with plenty of imagination—perfect for beginners or anyone who loves to create! Through guided projects and playful experimentation, students will build confidence, develop core art skills, and discover their own creative style. What We’ll Explore: 🎨 Painting & Color Play From cool winter hues to warm bursts of color, students will experiment with blending, layering, and brushwork. They’ll explore how color can express mood, energy, and even temperature—just like the changing seasons! 🖋️ Printmaking Magic We’ll roll up our sleeves and make prints using a mix of tools and textures! Students will learn the basics of relief and pattern printing, creating repeating designs, snowflake-inspired shapes, and bold graphic art. 🌙 Shading & Shadows In this cozy winter session, we’ll explore how light and shadow bring drawings to life. Students will practice blending, cross-hatching, and shading to create depth and drama in their work. ✨ Patterns & Design From frosty geometric designs to swirling snowstorm doodles, students will play with rhythm, repetition, and visual texture.
